Announcing the 2008 Fall Turkey Season Hunt

There are a maximum of six hunters allowed on the BCCER for each period. Each person is allowed one application as the primary applicant per hunt period and may include up to two guest hunters. There will be two applicants drawn for each hunt period. There is no limit to the number of hunt periods for which you can apply, but you will be drawn for no more than one hunt period. Drawing results will be posted at www.caldeer.org the week of October 13th and successful applicants will be notified by email.

If successful in the draw there will be an additional $35.00 hunt tag fee per hunter.

4. When you have completed the application send it as an email attachment to: bccer-hunts@caldeer.org

You may either make your payment online, or mail a check in separately to the address at right.

We are always trying to improve the quality of our program and hope these changes improve your hunting experience. Along with helping to reduce waste and increasing access to the application process these changes allow us to spend more of the revenue where it really matters, on habitat improvement and maintaining access roads. So far hunt revenues have made significant contributions to important aspects of habitat improvement such as increasing forage and invasive species control. We hope you will take advantage of these improvements and help us continue our work conserving a valuable natural area by applying for all of our upcoming hunts.

Thanks to our partnership with The California Deer Association all future applications will be available online. Look for BCCER hunting opportunities on the home page. Follow the directions below to download and print the application forms and then mail them to the address posted on the form, or send them in by email. Fees can now be paid online via PayPal, or they may be included with your application.

Please include a check made payable to Research Foundation. The amount should be $5.00 for each hunt period for which you are applying. Do not make checks out to DFG or BCCER. If you would prefer to pay online you can click here to go to the PayPal payment page.
